This ram is very good as long as it's compatible. Works with my msi z690 edge wifi motherboard even though it's not on the qvl list. The highest i'm able to run 4x8 32gb of this ram is 3733 which is fine for me. Purchased in may 2019 for a new build w... Read More

New pair works flawlessly with advertised xmp settings. Works good, runs at 3000 as advertised. Not bad for 3d rendering and 4k video editing.

Cons

The memory ic used changed from being samsung's renowned b-die to what's supposed to be hynix djr but there's no way to be able to confirm 100% due to patriot being shady in that they relabel the memory chips used in these, so the part number software... Read More

Quality

The heatspreaders look great as well and it fits fine under my noctua nh-d15 with the heatsink fans in pull.

I still had a great experience with the rams, so i would probably still buy them.

Came in a bubbled amazon bag, but the product box was not sealed at all.

Price

This was great and easy to install, the price is slightly high but other than that it works just fine

That said the more important factor here is price.

3600mhz is about the peak of diminishing returns for my x390/8700k setup.

Packaging/appearance

Held a star for poor packaging, but i think it may have been amazon’s fault for stuffing it in a box with another item loosely.

This ram is kinda in the middle of the pack.

Competitiveness

May buy another and run 32g at some point.

It's supposed to be 16 gb (2x8gb sticks).

Don't get me wrong, its 2400 ddr4 in 2023.
