Pros

My little dog is only 4 yrs and just had to have a cleaning under anesthesia and ended up having 7 incisors extracted. I have dogs that are not medically able to have their teeth cleaned by a vet (due to mdr1) wonderful product.

The cet virbac beef flavor is the new favorite toothpaste by our dogs. It replaces the now discontinued dr fosters and smith tartar control toothpaste.

The dogs love this flavor so much that they will start chewing on the toothbrush as i'm brushing and not let go. My ridgeback thinks it's a treat so he's willing to sit while i poke around in his mouth with a toothbrush. My cat is not really receptive... Read More

Cons

The corroding tube is the beef flavor. This means the corroded material was in the toothpaste that i used in my furry baby's mouth.

My dog is a walking stomach with four legs, and he wanted nothing to do with this toothpaste. I'm concerned that the silver discharge will get into the toothpaste and be bad for my dog so am no longer using this product.

Excellent, been using the product for 4 yrs since our girl was a puppy and the vet says her teeth are beautiful and no tartar.

This is an excellent toothpaste recommended by dental vets

After a few weeks i noticed his breath doesn’t smell at all and less plaque.

She hated all the other toothpastes i tried and would start barking as soon as she saw the toothbrushing stuff come out.

Price

Great toothpaste for dogs as it does it all - fresh breath, plaque remover and keeps puppy from dental problems which can be very costly.

Haven’t tried that yet but may save me a couple of bucks lol

Yes this costs a lot more than most human toothpastes, but again the taste will make it easier to adminster.

Packaging/appearance

I try to baby the packaging when i get a new tube, i just can’t seem to keep it from happening.

If the toothpaste wasn’t as good as it is i would not use it because of the packaging.

Competitiveness

This is my go to brand of dog toothpaste.

My dogs put up with this where they will run and hide as soon as i try out other brands.

All the other brands are terrible besides nylabone and i prefer this one anyway.
