Pros
For someone who is looking to own their own gear, this mask is a no-brainer. That & there’s no forehead protection is the only downside.
The ascend is a great goggle system for the price. When the game is on the line, and you want to maximize on fun, being able to see is crucial. No complaint at all.
The breathability is great and the lense is as good as any thermal. Never fogged in hot or cold, dry or humid weather. Doesnt fog, good visibility, easy to take on and off.
The level of comfort and secure fit are unparalleled. It sits well on your face, polarized and tinted. Your voice doesn’t get distorted too much.
The goggles are spacious enough for those like me who have to wear their prescription glasses under their mask. I wear glasses and this mask fits very comfortably over them. Fits over my thick framed glasses well.
Cons
The mask is strong and fits comfortably, but if it comes scratched and no helps you with it may not be worth it. It is a * product that fogged up from the get go. The bottom part of the mask is also not very flexible so it's hard to look into your sig... Read More

If anything the ascends actually performs on par with some of the higher priced premium masks without some of the gimmicky features that those masks are now incorporating

My biggest concern was with fit since i don’t have access to a local pro shop to try the mask on before buying and i have a large head

I currently own a sly profit and vforce profiler and while both can be made to fit well enough i have been looking for something more comfortable

Many masks come with tinted lenses that too dark or they suffer from excessive internal reflections but the vio masks do not

My only gripes with this mask have to deal with very small issues that don’t detract from my overall experience with the products
