Pros
It really cradles your hips and shoulders as a back and side sleeper. My husband likes it and thinks it has eased his shoulder pain. It gives enough give to relax into just enough to sleep comfortably.
The zippered cover fits a queen size as it should. The straps on the protective cover keep the topper in place without any sliding. The material on the bottom also helps to prevent slipping and works well.
Cons
Disabled 80-year-old wouldn't be able to manage sending this trash back to sender. She says to donate it to goodwill or salvation army and give proof with a receipt and they’ll refund.
For someone like me who needs the ability to sink in the mattress to relive pressure it is useless. It is very heavy and bulky to put on top of mattress for one person to handle.
This topper is worse than my old one, but now i have to ditch this one. Regardless, it’s unacceptable. Disappointment is mild in expressing my emotion about this purchase.
This topper is not soft. Very short lasting, very soft and shapes very very bad after a while.

It is very good quality - heavy and with just enough stiffness to support the body unlike some memory foam pads that are too soft.
Used over full memory foam mattress and has improved sleep quality tremendously!
This mattress is heavy and will not slide even without straps.
The chemical smell faded by the 2nd day.
Price
At less than a third the cost of a new king pillowtop mattress it's a bargain.

This product is superior to simple foam toppers.
After looking at several different brands of mattress toppers we chose the viscosoft because of all the ratings.

Didnt have any issues with smell i followed the instructions and let it air out for a few days and puff up and no issues

I contacted their warranty team which asked for a bunch of pictures but never heard back again

I have read it is difficult to get them to honor their 5 year warranty unless there is something real obvious like a big indentation in the foam with nothing on it
