Pros

Replacement for 12-year-old vitamix blender. Used on vita mix blender.

Now i am a firm believer that god protects me in all instances. A few you tube videos and ordered this and works as good as new.

Install a month ago w/ zero issues. Pay attention when installing. My only complain is the locking screw doesn't go in completely straight.

Cons

The new screw has a broader head which becomes restricted by the narrow opening that leads to the fastening point on the drive socket housing. I was forced to expand the opening of the whole with a drill. Update:grinded down after one use.

I found this easy to install and it appears to be a perfect match to the one my old vitamix had that simply wore out due to years of use.

This makes it easy to maintain existing models and recycling/reusing/extending product life rather than creating landfill waste.
