Pros

It fits underneath standard height cabinets when attached to the vitamix, which is very convenient. It also fits under the top cabinets on my * kitchen counter, and i think that makes me happiest of all.

This container is just the right size for small to medium sized mixes. The size is conducive to making my morning smoothie. Good for small chopping (shredding) cabbage, carrots, etc.

Shorter than the stock (64oz) container and slight different, improved, design. Love my vitamix 48 ounce container. I want the 48 oz container also for me.

The tamper holder holds the tamper just to the side of the machine, so you have it at hand but conveniently tucked away. We have a new (last yr) vitamix, but wanted it to fit under the counter, ready to blend.

Excellent quality and works well with my vitamix 5200

This one is just the right size, fits under the cabinets for storage, holds just enough for a one- or two-person smoothie.

The handle is hollow with no reinforcement my 64 oz has black grip handle overlay which is missing on this one.

To be honest, due to our raw water source into our house, i always washed it in the dishwasher.

Price

Great price for a quality vitamix container.

Costly but i will never have to buy it again.

(for the cost, i think vitamix should let you choose your container when you buy it - the base and the containers could be a la carte.

I had a much older model of vita mix plus we purchased the total nutrition center.

I almost went for the personal 32 oz wet blade container size but thought i'd get more use out of this size, plus it's less expensive.
