I didnt give it 5 stars because the low speed is still a super fast startup that splashes an already blended mixture hard against the top of the blender and the smaller lid section doesnt seal well

Its actually not as loud as i thought it would be

However if someone can possibly afford it spend the extra 50 or so and get the variable speed model instead of this twospeed
