The first time i used it (blending mayonnaise) when i lifted up the blender from the mixture, the entire metal shaft came off.

Overall this is a great immersion blender, if a bit pricey, but i'm hoping this is the last one i own.

So, i searched amazon for one of those, the price is higher, but i think the wattage on it is double what this one is.

I do wish they included some kind of immersion jar for this price, but i was able to use one that came with my old blender.

I noticed when i took it out of the box it had some heft to it compared to the old one.

It comes in a basic brown box with only the company logo on it.

This vitamix model compares well to my favorite features.

I've always heard of the vitamix brand, but as most of their products tend to be pretty expensive, i've never personally used anything.

I’ve always been a fan of vitamix items and this one is no different.

I am currently comparing it to my older five speed kitchenaid immersion blender.
