Compared to our old blender - which was pretty high quality - it’s significantly quieter. The bonus is the quietness of the unit. It is also more quiet than other blenders, which i highly recommended.

There are 6 presets that can be reprogrammed to run any of the 35 programs on the machine.
Cons
Vitamix mixer is now at their level of warranty which states that they will only cover the cost of parts. The warranty is only for commercial use!

Also, at 100%, quiet is a relative quality, but we no longer have to evacuate the kitchen while blending.

Price
This by far was the best price i found.
We will save back the cost within 1 year in soy milk alone for the 2 of us.
It's a little insane for home but it cost me about the same as a home version for sale at costco.
Packaging/appearance
Fantastic productgreat packaging, very secure for shippingexpensive but worth the dollar value!
After much research and debate we settled on the vita-mix quiet one.

After seeing a vitamix demo at costco she was sold and wanted the pro 750, i wanted something quiet.
I also like how the large 48oz advance containers don't require tamping down ingredients to get an even and smooth purée.
