Pros

Having a spare container is a blessing in disguise. New lid is much more pliable than my original lid, that was getting a bit stiff.

Everything blends much better with the low profile pitcher. Short canister works better for us then the tall one. Simple to plug in and blend. Easy to remove blended or chopped food is a snap.

Vitamix products are extremely durable and almost indestructible in the home kitchen. I love my vitamix blender and was really sad when my original container cracked under the blade and leaked like a sieve.

My four kids are ridiculously picky and they get most of their nutrients in their daily smoothie at breakfast. I make hummus and i bring it to most parties because it’s such a crowd pleaser. Canned goya beans are best.

The only time this wouldn’t be your best choice is if you are making single serve. We are buying a huge chunk of our fruit as frozen and that saves us money. The nutrition adds to improve one's health.

Cons

The blender blade is already chipping. The blending mechanism is sub par.

Price

My vitamix is like new again i am very happy a little expensive but it is worth it

This is an expensive container but it works and fits perfectly for my old vitamix 7500.

I suppose the high price for this is a consequence of that unfortunately.

No big deal was only about 12 bucks.

Shipping

Ordered friday evening and arrived on my front porch the next morning by 6 am.

They said it was an issue with the container, not the base and sent me a new container in a few days.

I kinda feel it's going to get ugly faster over time.
