Pros

Has removable smaller cap for use of the tamper or for adding of ingredients. Fits under my counter, but i do need to pull it out to get the canister off and on easily.

Tuff plastic motor base. The timer is nice. An automatic temperature-controled safety switch helps prevent motor failure if unit becomes overheated.

A bulletproof product. To say that this unit is an understatement is just nuts!

The only con, accessories for vitamix are expensive. The only problem was that it was damaged during delivery. Vitamix has a good reputation for a reason.

Cons

The v1200 personal blender works fine up to about 4-5, but once you dial it up beyond 5 it seems to hit another gear (running very high and loud) and all activity ceases within the blending container. I have been unable to make pesto - the leaves stay... Read More

It seems manufacturers today are cutting corners and cheapening products. The app is at best an untested or beta version of what it could have been. It always bogs down.

I’ve gone through all your usual suspects, cuisenart, nutribullet, and even breville, but every one has died within months.
