Pros

To say that this unit is an understatement is just nuts! It’s blend soooo much better than the ninja. The power is strong, it blends very smoothly.

The only appliance working more than this blender is my refrigerator. This is the best blender i've used or owned. The price seems absurd, but the amount of time this blender will last you makes up for it.

The tamper helps immensely, especially when blending small quantities. It fits under my counter, but i do need to pull it out to get the canister off and on easily.

I am amazed at how easy it is to use,clean. Easy to use and cleanup. I’m here to say it’s easily justified.

The vitamix blender has a 10 year warranty and will last longer than that. I'm a high quality mixed with simplicity type of customer, so this fit the bill perfectly! It's sad but this is the highlight of my 2020.

Cons

The app which controls this $500 gadget, is at best an untested or beta version of what it could have been. It always bogs down.

The design is old and with only one blade, that is difficult to detach, the same old issues of trying to scrape out the bottom of the blender are still annoying. The supposed superb blending power means nothing if it’s going to lock up whenever the in... Read More

The motor overheats (when blending up cooked and cut up food) also cannot even blend up a morning green smoothie without the blades just not right to keep grinding. My food processor works better for hummus - the vitamix keeps seizing up.
