Pros

Blending abilities. Smoothie is silky and those parts of foods you usually do not blend remain giving you even further nutrients. It blends perfectly smooth.

The ascent pitcher is easy to clean and easy to run. Just rinse it, put soap and water in it, and then run it. After seven months of use, the dishwasher looks brand new.

Always wanted a vita mix and finally broke down and got it. Gamechanger for raw, plantbased dieters. Performance surpasses them all.

Cons

The auto detect function of this machine malfunctions within 10 times of use. The smoothie setting only works for fresh fruit otherwise the motor just turns and smoothie does nothing. Customer service did not offer any feasible help.

This is not a cheap blender. Disappointed with the quality and durability of this mixer. Get a smaller, easier-to-use personal mixer.
