Pros

The soup setting is amazing. It grinds up anything i've put in it. Perhaps, it surely makes it easier to consume more fruits and vegetables.

The power of this blender is shocking. It has a big footprint - about 8x10 and can be loud.

Cons

Auto detect function malfunctions within 10 times of use. Customer service is sub par and takes forever to respond. Huge loss for me and big disappointment.

This is not a cheap blender and the seller could have spend a few dollars on the shipping box. Disappointed with the quality and durability of this mixer. Get a smaller, easier-to-use personal mixer.

Price

The great warranty justifies the price for me.

The vitamix a2500 is superior to any blender on the market.

Would give 5 stars if the price were in the $200-300 range.

Packaging/appearance

I recently wanted to get back into making smoothies and dressings and found a good deal on the a2500 at a local store.

I follow the instructions as to the order i fill the container.

Also, this was ordered as a gift, but showed up in shelf packaging.

My opinion is that one needn't spend the extra $ for the touchscreen controls on the a3300 and a3500.

Competitiveness

It is my understanding that in the near future you will be able to sync it to a vitamix app.

The ascent a2500 blends even better than the 5200.

A great concept, but you don't need a preset in order to self-clean your vitamix.

Also hoping they do a 32oz container.
