Pros & Cons
Pros
Cold smoothies are a breeze, clean up is a breeze. It also helps with portion control versus the 64oz or 32oz containers, which i sometimes get overzealous with.
Don't listen to the difficulty to line up nonsense, theyre fine. I have zero issues with them connecting to the base and running. The only item i noticed is that you really need to look for the arrows, which are hard to find.
The lid and container must align perfectly for the cup to work on the blender. If you have hand strength issues, or smaller hands - screw it on the cup as far as you can. The new blade unit works great but it is sensitive.

There is a reset process that one can try to use to get these to work correctly. When they have worked, they're very fiddly. Took my 30 min to figure out the so called trick to get this to even work.

Competitiveness
These 20oz containers are a game changer!
My wife’s keeps it blender and tightens/loosens it in there for more leverage.
Sometimes it takes taking the kid off a couple of times before the machine registers it as a vitamix cup.
Switch on and the machine shld detect it.

You are not supposed to blend for more than 30 seconds due the possibility of creating pressure inside the cup
