Our 10+ year old vitamix wasn't blending well and making a horrible high-pitched noise.

The non-oem part nearly ruined my machine, wasn't sized correctly, didn't fit properly.

This probably saved us hundreds of dollars on repairs or a replacement.

Glad to get this genuine part now, which i had avoided because the price shot up to $44 bucks at the time.

(even the hex wrench was included to install it) cheaper to buy here at amazon than buying at commercial restaurant equipment supplier.
