They steadfastly refuse to cut corners, and this commitment shines through every facet of this blender. It blends so much better than any previous blender i’ve had.

The blender comes with a self-cleaning function that makes cleanup a breeze. It has a sturdy base and a bpa-free plastic container.

Took advantage of the prime day sale and purchased the refurbished model. This is the first appliance i've ever fallen in love with. Buy one asap.

Cons

This blender is huge, which is good if you’re making a lot but if you just want a smoothie for two people or anything that won’t serve 10, this is not the blender to use. It only works with the various speeds of blending.

Super sharp blades, very powerful and durable.

The power is great, the lid has a great seal, the blades can handle ice, frozen fruits, chunky soups and sauces, etc.

My old blender couldn't emulsify the rice, water and other ingredients into a batter.

This blender will emulsify carrots ,kale, ginger.

Price

It was $100 cheaper and i was delighted that i could finally have a vitamix.

The price might seem like a lot to people for a blender but i think it's absolutely worth it if you use frequently.

Most breads that wouldn't kill me are $12+ a loaf and taste like cardboard.

They're pretty pricey so i was reluctant to pull the plug.

Besides my washer and dryer -- the vitamix is the best thing i ever bought!

I've had cheaper blenders from vitamix competitors and they leak, they break faster.

I think vitamix blenders are a higher quality than their competition.
