Pros

It’s very satisfying to buy a product that surpasses expectations. Been wanting a vitamix for years and have purchased and destroyed many other less sturdy brands year after year.

The blade comes right out and is sharp. Rinse and add water and liquid soap and a spin on high for a minute or two and rinse and done. It self cleans.

This thing has so much power that it will pulverize just about anything you'd put in it. Kinda feels like operating a spaceship, going into hyperspace. Less noise, too and no bunches of veggies such as parsley wound around the blending blade either.

The vitamix blender in hot rod red is a beast of a machine.

The vitamix is quieter than i expected. Not too loud (can blend at night and early in the morning) it is a bit loud, but that's not a game changer.

Cons

Motor burns out after 20-30 seconds of blending a smoothie. Feels like the motor overheated and seized, no power at all.

The vita-mix blender is very large and bulky, the lid feels like a car part. This refurb walks all over the counter while making a huge racket. In under a year, this investment-priced blender is dead.

Buy something you can replace, not the company that tells you to clean it!

Price

I bought it in 2019, it was a great deal, and i am in love with it’s performance and capabilities!

If price is a concern then buy refurbished, i know it’s still expensive for a blender but you will not be disappointed with vitamix!
