Quality
My only quibble with the quality of footage produced is that i found the wide angle to telephoto zoom to be a little on the jerky side.
The image quality is gorgeous, the photos are also crisp and clear though they are in 4:3 format instead of 16:9.
Your phone camera probably has more features and possibly better quality.
It seems like last week when a camcorder of this quality was out of reach for many people.
Price
The video was really good considering the price point on this 4k unit.
It is a great product at a great price.
Shipping
One of the feet had come unsnapped during shipping, but it's snaps together again easily.
Packaging/appearance
First i want to get the only downfall out of the way.
I think it's time to read the instruction booklet.
Competitiveness
It is capable of 4k60 recording which is what i wanted to be able to test out on my computer.
The resolution is great and allows for 18x digital zooming.

There is no charger for the batteries and they need to be charged in camera which is not my favorite way of charging any camera or camcorder

Having said that if you touch and hold the screen for a few seconds all the information will disappear giving you a plain screen

I did find it necessary to hold any screen option for a very short period to get it to action rather than it being instant response
