It is effective but i did not compare it against expensive hoya or other filters. The filter is actually 67mm in diameter and it comes with a free step down adaptor. Good price and an inexpensive way to protect your camera lens.

It is a bit difficult to start the threads but does go on and works as it should.

Good price and an inexpensive way to protect your camera lens.
You can pay a lot more for a uv filter but this one works perfectly and at a cost of approximately $10 it's a great value.
For this price, you cannot go wrong.
For this price, you cannot ask for more.

The polarizer can be rotated while it is in the mount

I didnt want to take a chance scratching the 62mm front lens so i attached this filter to protect it

Because the filter has a greater diameter than the cameras front lens the image wont vignette darken in the corners even when the zoom is set at 25mm maximum wide angle
