Pros & Cons
Pros
Not the right colour for my scheme but worth it for the savings. Best quality cable.
Easy to un-twist and crimp. Most runs are well over 100ft, around large electrical equipment like spray ovens and compressors. Only issue is that in the first 100 feet it snags a bunch when pulling. One * inside when pulling the cable, but other than ... Read More
Cons
Every 2 feet the cable is kinked and damaged. Cable coating is very plasticy, not flexible. Cable is very thin and aluminum clad.
Do yourself a favour and don't buy this. The box is labelled cat 5e which supports gigabit ethernet, its contents is cat 5 which does not. Better to buy yourself a premade cable.
Highlights
Quality
Really good quality wire, easy to handle and resistant.
Using this for some low speed network ports along side my cat6a as well as used as telephone wire, really good strength but still flexible
Crimps well in the connectors and keystone jacks.
No broken wire even though i pulled and yank them.
Price
I have no complaints about this and it was a pretty great price
Best price i could find anywhere for cat 5e wire.
Not the right colour for my scheme but worth it for the savings.
The sheathing tends to look damaged when it kinks, but you cant beat this wire for the price
Shipping
With prime i was able to get fast with a decent price.
Packaging/appearance
Box was a little beaten up but that's to be expected from cardboard.
Probably because the box is small and the opening is small
Competitiveness
I bought two other types locally , one was terrible and the other name brand expensive and again not great.
