Pros & Cons
Pros
Installation is not difficult -- six screws into the underside of the desk. If you don’t turn ur desk, it’s kinda heavy for installation.
It looks nice. No complaints here. See pic. good for the price. And it’s super cute goes so well with my mac setup.
The curved arm that holds the tray is able to get around that. It rotates side to side. I like the fact it can telescope up or down, as well as slide back under the desk.
Cons
Raising or tilting it requires reaching to loosen a knob located on the side of the mount behind the tray- i have to contort to reach it at all. The tilt adjustment is an absolute joke. Unfortunately this one only sits level or tilts forwards. The thi... Read More
The design and the parts quality diminish an otherwise awesome product. Every single aspect of this thing is utter garbage. Platform is liquid paper white and the metal powder coating on the mount is a cream white.
It doesn't slide well on the track, it makes horrible scraping noises and takes way too much force to push it in or pull it out. For something this expensive and heavy, it’s a disgrace it didn’t come with rolling bearings. Imagine shaving with a dry b... Read More
The plate is attached with one bolt to allow the swivel, so there's inherent flex at that bolt, and it bounces all over the place. The rubber pad rubs my wrist and causes what feels like a rug burn.
The tray is wobbly even with the knob tightened and all the bolts tightened. The 1st set of screws closest to the tray, is not reachable with the screw driver, if you follow the instructions and install mount after the tray.
Highlights
Quality
The good: easy to install, considerably sturdy for a normal keyboard.
It is well made and easy to install/assemble and works well for what i need.
It peeled right off the pad when i tired to remove the backing and now the pad does not stay attached.
It is literally just a pair of plastic inserts sliding inside two grooves.
Price
Unacceptable for a new product of this price.
And the price was out of my budget for testing something out.
It’s a little expensive for what it is, but i spend most of my waking hours at my desk so the setup is important.
Shipping
The installation was a bit faster than i expected.
