It has to straddle the middle shelf support leg but that's a minor problem. It's the tiniest bit wobbly but not so that i worry about the sturdiness of shelf. It is sturdy.

Easy to assemble. There was no hassle to put it together. You just need to screw the legs on to the base with the provided allen wrench.

Cons

The unit was already assembled, and both legs were'mashed' it wobbles alot! The feet are thin metal and they are prone to wobble.
