But with this i get it raised up off my desk a bit forcing me to sit up straight and give me some of my desk space back

It holds it well except when i adjust the angle more to the bottom it fails to hold it in place and lowers the angle completely

If however you need to pivot your monitor in such a way that it does not rest upon both feet you might need to get creative with shims or become draconian with the articulation bolts which i will not do

Consthis isnt really a con because physics but the mass and gauge of the articulations are not so great that your massive 31 inch monitor in landscape wont sag

I do not even attempt to put my 31 inch monitor in landscape i bought this stand expressly so i could get a 31 inch monitor in portrait

The factory paint adds just enough thickness that if youre trying to assembly it without any prefitting you will possibly make an incorrect assumption that you just cross threaded a bolt or that a bolt hole is wrongly machined etc
