Pros

The pole is tall enough to put two monitors on top of each other at an appropriate ergonomic height for the lower one. Older designs (double hand screw clamp) have the stands welded on, which is great, because they are super-strong!

Cons

Bad costumer service. It's useless without the hardware to mount it to a clamp, base, etc. Threads in the new pole don't line up with the holes drilled in the mounting plate.
