Pros

Vivo stuff rocks. An lg, lenovo, and hannspree. It ain't pretty, but it works! I have 2 stands in my house with two different pc's and they have been rock solid.

Cons

The ratcheting mechanism is plastic and flexes quite a bit when turning the monitor. The way the ratchet mechanism is supposed to be disengaged to allow sliding against the teeth direction is unreliable.

Vivo could have has a winner by drilling a few extra holes. This is very much an engineering defect, and not a qc issue. I hope another company seizes the opportunity to create a better design.

Vga connector is not considered in the install. Metal plate is too big and hide the screen video connexion.

My monitor’s vesa mounts are indeed recessed by about 10mm resulting in that the screws included with the bracket (m4x10) are too short.

Price

I got my monitors all on sale cheap cheap cheap years ago, so three $25 brackets to make them mount together was so worth it to me.

$ 17 bit high for a metal piece as a monitor cost $79.

But since the cost is good and it is low tech plus it is all metal, i can live with it.
