Alternatively you can extend the handle but that would require some effort and metal tubes of the right size that are not included see pic 2

One thing directions did not mention is that you cannot adjust up and down until you actually put the monitors on

I like it very much only thing i found that i didnt like was the fact that i have two exact same monitors mounted on it and they do not line up
