Pros & Cons
Pros
Vivo large leather beekeeping gloves with sleeves do exactly what you want them to do -- they protect your hands and forearms from the bees. Good protection on the arms. Useful, sturdy, reasonable dexterity.
Cons
These gloves are just way too light and flimsy to afford any protection. Flimsy products like this hurt bees. Then they try inspecting their hive(s) and have a really bad experience.
Both gloves have an xl tag but my hand barely fits in one. Stitching around the elastic is done poorly.
Highlights
Quality
I've ordered more from vivo as i was impressed with the quality.
We bought this with the manufacturer's full body beekeeping suit.
As to the quality, the leather on one of the fingers is thinner than the others and probably won't wear as well.
Competitiveness
I would recommend for a hobbiest but not sure about the durability for every day user.

The gloves are thin enough that you can still easily grip tools and frames but thick enough that bees cant penetrate them
