Price
This is not a huge deal for me as it is barely noticeable and is hidden behind a chair.
I think it’s going to be fine for most, as long as careful attention is paid to the dimensions and weight requirements.

It does have openings to run wires through the stand post but like others have said youll be able to see the wire so im not sure id use them

It might work well for a lowset sofatv but once you are getting to a platform bed you’re likely too high up for the speakers to be optimally placed
