It is loud when first plugged in without the output connected, but that's not surprising. Rubber feet help with vibration. The only downside is that they are a bit loud.
Air pump works fine in harsh arizona heat. Years later, it's still performing the same way withstanding the harsh arizona heat.
Cons
There are no redeeming qualities about this noisemaker. It vibrates constantly and you either need to bolt it down or sit it on something that will muffle the sound of the vibration from the motor. Just as noisy as my 150gallon air compressor.

I suggest putting a small fan to blow on the air pump because they do get warm from running and they dont have active cooling
