Pros
It fits securely in the window and helps maintain proper ventilation. Comes with tape to cover all of the gaps that might allow leakage. I wish it came with one or two more flanges.
Cons
This is barely sturdier than laundry basket plastic. I have ten dollar storage totes that are more rigid.

Packaging/appearance
Came with a window seal, but since i'm on the first floor, i don't use that and remove the plate from the window when i'm done engraving.
Allowed me to put the box in the house and vent it out the front window.
Competitiveness
Ive used those other air conditioner window kits and this one is just better.

The size of the panels is a bit odd for a 36 window the main panel with one extension is too short but adding a second panel even with minimal spacing is too long

The plastic is not structurally sound enough for security but i am using on a second story window so the risk is not very high

Also the thermal insulation is not high and there is no one way valve so when the vent pump fan is off there is potential for flow from the outside in which can be an issue depending on temperature differences
