Bought these xs for my son, 3' 7 (pictured,) for soccer. He also has sensory processing disorder and they don't seem to bother him.
They stay up well and are comfy. Would buy again.
Cons
Ordered based on size chart and was the size for a a 2 year old. They are loose around the ankle and the strap under the foot is too short.

Not sure what is going on with the system but it needs corrected.

The elastic on the band that wraps your calf and the ankle guard both wore down over time and after about 4 years of moderate use i had to get a new pair

On the previous pair we got the velcro was too big around his calf
