I bought an expensive single induction hotplate when my nef 4 plate hob gave up the ghostonly for it to succumb to a large crack in the glass due to an object falling from an upper cupboard

It must always be borne in mind however that it is cheap chinese manufactured domestic electronic equipment and the best quality components are not always used

The built in fan i presume well help keep the internal components from getting heat damage

The only defect is the wire which is a bit short
