Highlights
Quality
This worked great, original chip, detected as an intel chip in my computer.
Great nic with an intel x550 chip on it.
5gbs and i'm getting gigabit plus speeds out of the cable modem.
Heat sink did have thermal paste too which is a big plus.
Price
All-in-all a quality card for a good price.
Expensive, but you get what you pay for
Packaging/appearance
Came with both normal and low profile brackets and a decent heatsink.
Competitiveness
Works better than the 540 chipset and seems to run a lot cooler.
Opnsense apparently doesnt do so well with cheaper realtek nics so the intel was my primary choice.
