As expected, its j1772 charging adapter and nema 14-50 compatibility make it suitable for home use.

I plugged the charger into my 14-50 nema electrical outlet, which is connected to my main panel on its on own circuit breaker.

The ground protection is confusing, so i emailed the manufacturer for clarification, but it was returned undeliverable.

Price

If i had paid full price for it, i would probably return it because of the lack of support available.

Bottom line at this point is that it works, and was a great price.
