Pros

The dethatch attachment does a great job of dethatching the grass. Dethatching is great on bermuda grass as bermuda can take the beating and will bounce back.

When using the aerator bar, it acts more like a high-speed tiller and levels out the first inch or so of dirt. Perfect for re-seeding or over seeding. The only down side the catcher bag fills up fast especially if the level is lower do to thicker gras... Read More

Vonhaus de-thatcher & aerator works very well, and is easy to use. The dethatcher and scarifier work every bit as well as advertised. The aerator drum works great as well.

For a lightweight machine it really is a workhorse. This machine has plenty of juice and does not bog down. I also appreciate how the machine folds up for compact storage.

dragging a cord around without running it over is a bit of a pain. The only con if you can consider it a con is ot fills the small bagger quickly.

Cons

There is no aerator with this, the description is inaccurate. Not worth the aggravation.

Did okay job for dethatch. It is very frustrating. The design of the cord makes it hard to connect an extension cord.

The bag is worthless when using the aerator, it just collects dirt and gets weighed down.

Price

Great value, it occasionally will overheat and stop but quickly starts up once it has cooled off.

I purchased it for a $100 less than i would have paid to have my lawn prepped for spring.

The price now is way too much.

At $180 or so, per professional session, (that's each season btw) it will pay for itself.
