Pros
Noise level is good, the slow acceleration to full power is good as it doesn't * the hands, and i love the easily manoeuvrable guard. Easy to assemble. Comes with instruction booklet. Diamond cutting blade and a set of replacement brushes.
Cons
Very disappointingly, the design of safety collar is really poor and relies on a treaded pin to hold it in place. This renders the grinder useless until i can find a replacement pin or bolt. Have to assume it was simply a faulty product.

Quality
Build quality is sturdy and this is a substantial machine that comes with a selection of cutting/grinding discs.
Excellent little machine with more than enough for the diyer.
That said i checked out a few cheaper models before plumping for the vonhaus.
This did a really tidy job with the supplied disks.
Price
Nice carry case which, for the price, is a bonus.
Cutting metal angle beads, and grinding stone, price was good 👍
Packaging/appearance
Bought as a present but have had thumbs up from the user
Competitiveness
I was surprised to find how easy this was with vonhaus grinder.
Personally i am more than happy with it as a moderate diy’er.

It was only delivered this morning so all i have done so far is check the box contents and given the angle driver a brief test run to ensure it’s working okay

Apparently turning the collar over secures discs with depressed centres

As one should not use discs of a lower specified maximum rpm than the angle grinder’s rpm i will not use this disc

To my mind this is a rather basic manual in very small print although there are a few diagrams

When i received the grinder there were a few wheels missing

He didn’t know the use of the drill bits so broke the 3 smallest ones trying to drill holes in the wall

I told them the tips were a bit too late as the bits are already broken
