Quality
A quality bench saw that does the job for which i wanted it.
Excellent quality, great value for the money!
The table saw works like you'd expect, once assembled, but i did find it quite difficult to put it together with the tool provided.
Fence was better than i expected from reviews, but limited vertical adjustment to square it with the blade and table top.
Packaging/appearance
Out of the same maranti, make your own rip fence.
Competitiveness
This review is for the von haus table saw; i say that because amazon seem to have lumped reviews for a 600w mini saw here as well.
For the average diy'er this is a good product.

The fence is absolute rubbish as are most cheap fences

It has a nice little locking mechanism at one end but the thing is so short and flimsy that you are five degrees out by the time you get to the end of the fence which is just past the blade

As for the mitre gauge it makes the fence look like a swiss watch

The blade guard is a cheap bit of plastic that got caught the first time i used it so i removed it as it seemed more dangerous having it on there

With that caveat id recommend it or else spend a few hundred quid more and buy a makita or similar

Fence isnt very accurate but could be replaced with a piece of box aluminium

Initially confused by differences in extension supports until i realised the left extension is further from the legs as the unit isnt centred to the metal top
