Pros
A real steal at $30. This is one of the best household appliances purchases i have ever made. Despite the headaches, this is my second von haus and despite the headaches i would buy again.
Easy to disassemble and clean. Fits perfectly in the closet & gets the job done. The filter is the easiest to find and cheap.
The suction power alone is incredible for the price.
This vacuum is extremely lightweight and easy to use. You start to notice that the vacuum is picking up less power the more you vacuum in one setting.
Cons
The wood flooring is okay but the suction power to me is still not good enough. While this suction is very good, it is not enough to dislodge and pick up debris and/or hair from a carpet. It takes real force to move the vacuum across a rug and is a ge... Read More
This thing is a hunk of junk. The plastic part of the handle that your hand is supposed to grasp is just jammed on there and easily comes off. It's loud. And, it's hard to get bottom piece off to transition to handheld for smaller crevasses.

Price
The price was excellent for a stand-up vac, but i wasn't sure how well it would work.
The cost is so reasonable that i don't need a big expensive vacuum.

Delivery was fast and hassle free too.

I've had 2 of these vacuums (just ordered my 3rd) since 2016.
Other (more expensive) vacs i've had might do really well on carpet but i feel it spitting pits of dirt and sand back at my feet.
