Pros

For general diy projects, which is what i like to do, this router is good. It's quite noisy compared to my old router but for the price it works well. Overall its good value for money for occasional use.

Well packaged, delivered as advertised. The sellers customer service is second to none.

If cutting channels, use a small cutter first to create clearance for waste removal. It really does need to be connected to a vacuum cleaner unless you like looking like a snowman after use.

Palm base is a joy to use freehand with excellent dust extraction. Spindle - bush not measured but no problem so far. The plunge lock is secure and the motor unit fits snugly and securely in both the trim and plunge base.

Cons

Once again i was seduced by the price, save up & get a real one. The insecure plunge guide makes me nervous using it.

Quality

Great little tool - ideal for free hand work, decorative edge work and light weight routing tasks.

The build quality seems very good, i have tried a couple of times on small projects with the plunge attachment and it worked very well.

Attaching either of the bases to the well engineered router body takes seconds, you just open the clip and slide the router in.

Frankly, it’s also too heavy and the action too stiff to do light plunge work and is way too unwieldy for trim duties.

Price

I have given 5 stars as i feel it deserves it for its cost and performance.

To have both options and for such a great price.

Cable length ridiculously short - even at the price.

For the price it does the job admirably.

Router arrived within 1 day (2 days before original prediction) and is ideal for the job i needed it for which was door and lock fitting.

I bought the quality bits i needed from screwfix much better than buying a big cheap box of bits that end up in the recycling.

Kit seems identical to katsu brand as far as i can see.
