Pumped the dirty water away effectively

It really didnt fit well onto the pump hose tail and that meant that water was leaking out of where the hose connected to the pump

Despite this the pump emptied my hot tub in about half an hour which would have been around 2000 3000 ltrs of water i guess

Ok it left around 2 of water in the very bottom and that is because the pump is designed to take out stones etc from dirty water so it needs that clearance in the pump intake section

Once the water goes down below the top part of the inlet the pump cant pump anymore so you end up with a couple of inches left

However the hose supplied is pathetic and is extremely flimsy so kinks very easily therefore i would suggest you purchase a sturdier hose
