There is a blitz mode, which gives each size 5 minutes to make all of their moves. The computer is aware of how to castle and how to en passant capture.
Cons
This is way to over priced for what your getting. It isn't intuitive and i still don't really understand how it works.

The screen is tiny and hard to make out the instructions are far more concerned with computer operations than chess rules and it makes a ton of noise which is both annoying and distracting
