Pros

The fan itself is flawless. This thing is awesome. They are fantastic. Excellent product with a 5yr warranty.

It moves a ton of air to meaningfully cool off even a sizable space. It makes a pleasant muted low growl of a sound – not at all a buzzy annoying drone.

The vornado shop fan creates like a vortex that bounces off the walls and the whole garage has constant airflow. It is easy to go from nice light air to super power and really cools off the garage quickly! Easy to switch, setup and plug.

The design is gorgeous, like a 1920's danish modern poul henningsen lamp. It's modern without being overly sleek or dyson-style odd. Though it's nominally a shop fan it actually looks really great in most settings.

Cons

The distance between the front and back is only 24'. If you direct it upward it moves down as it runs. And pretty darn angry.

Ohh bummer. The fan really is great, until it isn't. I was fooled into thinking this would be some sort of upgrade.

Fan blade can be broken by slightest tap. Mounting of the base to the fan body is lousy. It just has some very light weight plastic clips that hold it.

The price is terrible for what it is. Get better performance from box fan at a quarter of the cost. Don't see the difference between this & $50-80 fans.

Well made, quiet, incredible air flow and a 5 year warranty.

Super easy to clean, not loud at all on the lowest setting and excellent air mover on medium and high.

This last month, 11 years after i bought it, i asked if they could replace the knobs on the side that cracked to pieces a few years back.

I have this in my shop and another one inside a bedroom and this is very noise and loud at full speed.

Price

This was a little on the higher side in terms of price for a garage item but i am telling you it’s so worth it !

I am seriously so happy that i made the decision to pay a bit more than i originally had planned.

I don’t see why it would be more than $70.

Don't waste your time and money on cheap fans.

So you could say i'm a fan of vornado products.

I had to put the ken on high speed to match the vornado's low speed and coolness.

Another thing i do during the winter and summer is use vornados to move cold and hot air far away to other rooms.
