Pros

The vornado re-circulates the air extremely well. I appreciate the air mover theory, that a vortex of air bouncing around cools a room more effectively than oscillation.

The engineering behind this fan is ingenious. It generates great airflow for its size and is quieter than any other i have given the air volume produced. Noise level is acceptable and tolerable.

I have to say the vornado has performed admirably on 90 degree days. Vernado has a 10yr warranty that they're usually pretty good at honoring.

Fan is loud and is similar to being in a warehouse with those large industrial fans. No power brick in the cord for this dc motor is a plus. The only knock i can come up with is the not so supple power cord.

Cons

This isn't necessarily a defect, but at $139, if it's going to feel cheap, it better come with no defects. It's just so much louder. I only hope the durability claim is accurate.
