Pros

It's circulates air so efficiently i don't need to run the ac all day. During the summer, they circulate cool air and in the winter, one resides by the fireplace fan to circulate the heat. Also handles things like getting the smell of burnt toast out ... Read More

Model 610dc is very quiet on the lowest speeds, but it is more expensive. With variable speed it is nearly silent on low settings and quieter than other fans at it's highest speed. At the highest speeds it is so needed and does a fantastic job.

Without a doubt this is absolutely the quietest fan i've ever had. Whisper quiet. Otherwise, little to no noise at all.

Works well,amazingly quiet, like that it uses less energy. Keeps the air flowing throughout the room. They're great, but are notably louder than the standard black voronado fans.

Cons

The cord is cumbersome, to say the least. The plug goes into an inconvenient spot on the fan for charging like a mobile phone. For a ridiculous amount of money this is an undersized fan and has a super cheap external ac/dc converter that isn't picture... Read More

The fan is white. They are black. The website leaves out this detail. Quite disappointing.

We use it in a rv trailer and it works great, doesn't have any vibration and has an adjustable tilt.

It is solidly make, quiet, and it moves air.

After three months, it became very annoying.

Worked great for almost 3 years til it started making a weird grinding noise.

Price

Worth the extra $ , great for pushing air in a specific direction.

Great fan for the price, i love the energy efficient part of it and it’s far easier to clean and maintain than the standing tower fans.

You pay a little more, but you get a whole lot more.

But, for the price, i expected more engineering to have gone into the aerodynamics to make it quieter.

Shipping

Vortex customer service offered to help and they sent a replacement after i returned the saggy one.

Packaging/appearance

This little fan makes our den feel so much cooler when all of us are packed in there for summer movies.

It's so pretty and just as pictured.

Disappointed that the white fan doesn’t come with white cord - it’s black.

Competitiveness

It's still a great upgrade compared to my earlier vornado.

It doesn't vibrate the floor compared to the vornado 460 that i got.

It is crazy how much better this fan is at doing its job than the expensive dyson fan it replaced.
