Pros

I use mine every night from bedtime till morning over the bed. My fan in my room runs 24/7. Right now it's set to its lowest setting, and still gives out an amazing amount of air.

It has an elegant simplicity to it with a minimalist design. It's like a steady, soothing hum that drowns out the world's symphony of nighttime noises. Noise level is acceptable and tolerable.

The 7803 vornado ( i call that one darth vader) works great with alexa via a smart plug. The remote control comes in handy when i want to change the speed without bending down or squatting.

This is my 4th vornado i have owned and my favorite. Our family loves this brand. Could not be more satisfied.

At high settings it is very powerful, but i'm not sure that the power really provides that much more cooling. The only knock i can come up with is the not so supple power cord.

Cons

I only hope the durability claim is accurate. Pulled the fuse, it was blown. Doubt there is a warranty that is still valid so and tips and tricks to get it working.

The fan makes an odd humming noise at low speed. What i am not ok with is the squeaking/unbalanced chirp that occurs if i dare to have the fan lower than like 55.

This energy smart fan costed the most and failed within a month. Doesn't oscillate because the way the fan works is supposed to cause the air to do that. The fan itself works, but the pedestal is awful.

The remote and control panel are so sensitive that i resorted to slow increments of one. To go from low to high you either have to press the button 98 times or try to press and hold in increments of just 5. The remote is inaccurate in its 90 degree in... Read More
