Pros
At high speed it gets louder. Full blast is louder than i’d like but tolerable. As you increase the speed, the fan makes more airflow and you can hear some air turbulence.

An ez remove front grill system. It is really great at directing air from my one window (a porch door) up into my loft. To me, having the brick hidden away is a much cleaner design.
Small enough to fit on my nightstand, very light. You need a 1/4 x 5-7 phillips head screwdriver.
Cons
If you need something strong like a vornado buy specifically an industrial fan, that's all this is - except it's overpriced, has cheaper parts, and can easily be broken. This is not the fault of amazon.
Small size lends to a very loud an at anything past a 15 - 25% turn. It still turns on, but it's so weak, even at the highest setting. I have to get down to about 2 watts (on my kill-a-watt meter) before the sound quality reduces to a level acceptable... Read More

I found this fan and it seemed to check all the boxes so i ordered one.
Competitiveness
I put up with this occasional aggravation because the vornado works better than any fan i’ve ever owned.
Unlike most fans, the power/speed control is on the front, much easier to deal with than the more typical rear mounted control.
For a larger room, the 633dc probably would work noticeably better.
