Pros

This blows cool air and circulates it around the room incredibly well. It is hot. But, it cools! In combination with my lg 14,000 potable ac allows my garage gym to be 25 degrees below the outside temperature.

This fan does exactly what it proclaims. Allows me to complete my treadmill and cycling workouts. Helps me sleep.

Everything about this product screams quality and attention to detail.

These are worth every penny! Well made. Extremely sturdy. The fan is great. That alone is worth the price!

Cons

After i assembled it, my first thought was aren't you a little short for a stormtrooper? This is a problem, if there's not any noticeable air circulation at lower speeds.

The fan gets a poor rating because it didn't work when i tested it. The only positive about vornado is the warranty - 5 years is a huge plus - but my guess is that not many customers bother with the hassle of utilizing that.

Main gripe is that it’s super noisy. The motor noise is an audible whine. Secondly the output from the fan seems less powerful than the large floor fans, not sure what's up with that.

Bought a 783 to replace a smaller vornado tabletop, in my bedroom, and it lasted for about two weeks, until the motor burned up.

Price

Well worth paying a little more than just a cheap fan.

Definitely worth the price and i’m going to be buying another one, so i don’t have to move it from my home office to the bedroom.

200 bucks was a reach even for a fan coming from me.

I bought it on prime day, guessing the discount price would make up for (what i thought was) the extra cost of buying the "brand name".

Fan arrived several days early very satisfy with the vendor.

Circulating fans are not much to look at, but this one at least looks interesting.

Competitiveness

I've bought another vornado fan since then at full price, and recommended the brand to many friends and family.

I love vornados and will never go back to other brands but this one is amazing.

As long as vornado maintains their quality, then i won't even consider another brand.

I have tried all fans from the cheap ones to the most 50-80 dollar range.
