The three speeds are distinctly different. Came in a nice sealed box. If it lasts it's totally worth the bucks.

This is a powerful air circulator and it is pretty quiet. Low is relatively sedate with a noticeable white noise and good airflow. Medium is louder and moving more air than your average window fan on high.

The bearing got squeaky and i filed for a warranty replacement.
