The fan circulates air well in our irregularly shaped bedroom. They're the only fans that truly cool down a west facing condo. When it's a windows open day this fan creates a cooling breeze.

The vornado is very quiet. My only regret is that i somehow thought that it oscillated as my old one did, but that's not the case. The next one down is substantially quieter and still moves a lot of air.

It keeps me from waking up in a pile of sweat. I have no problem believing those who report otherwise. But the catch 22 is that there are not a lot of others this size at this price point.

This fan simply looks nice but it is disturbingly loud. On the top setting it's putting out less air and is much louder than my really old fan. A strange low grumbling noise persists no matter what speed the fan is on.

Would not repurchase though because of the noise level. This is a cheap, poorly manufactured product. But truthfully, the fact that you only get about a month before the noise sets in, it isn't really worth the money in the long run.

The cork ring breaks down and begins to enter particulates into the motor. Mine makes an awful grinding vibration after an estimated 100-200 hours of operation. This is my son's white noise and now it's bedtime and the motor blew.
